BeTTeR are a new Liverpool band, formed 2026, fronted by Chris Mullin of The Sums (ex-Smaller), who now steps front and centre on guitar and lead vocals.
Expect melodic, hook-driven songs delivered by accomplished musicians, blending rock and pop with a psychedelic twist. BeTTeR represent a fresh creative evolution from one of Liverpool’s most quietly influential figures — confident, forward-looking, and unmistakably rooted in the city’s musical DNA.
Mullin is also a key force behind The Sums, serving as bassist and co-writer alongside longtime friend and bandmate Digsy (of Oasis fame). Together they’ve released three studio albums, an EP, and multiple singles.
